We recruit based on potential, not just previous achievement, and a big part of our programme involves developing self-awareness. Some of our best students do not initially identify themselves as potential future leaders. So, if you have met and worked with a Sheffield engineering student who you think could be a future engineering leader in research or industry, help them to recognise that potential by nominating them for SELA today. To be eligible, students must currently be in the first year of an undergraduate Master programme (e.g. MEng), or intending to transfer to a Master-level programme. Students who are nominated will receive a personal invitation to apply to join our programme. Nominations for SELA Cohort 2018 are now closed. Nominations for SELA Cohort 2019 will open in January 2019.
